In cold temperatures and with the odd snow flurry, seven children who attend Bungay Black Dog Running Club represented South Norfolk in the Norfolk School Games Winter Finals hosted by Gresham’s School in Holt.

Six hundred children qualified to run in this competition by taking part in the local School Sports Partnership (SSP).  Each SSP team included 80 runners made up of 10 boys and girls from each of years three, four, five and six.

In year six, Tessa Andrews became Norfolk School Games Winter Champion by comfortably winning her race.

Other results for the Black Dog athletes who gave each other outstanding support, were:

Year five girls 11th Eloise Morran; year five boys 4th Adam Robson, 12th Thomas Robson, 23rd Joe Allcock; year six girls 1st Tessa Andrews; year six boys 13th Harry Smith, 66th Freddie Cox-Hartigan.
